One way to color hair in Photoshop

In Photoshop their are several things to do something.  For example change the color of hair.

This is a very simple way.

Open your image

Add a new empty layer and paint with a soft brush over the hair. Be as accurate as you want.

Change the blending mode to soft light. Now you can see the hair of the woman is lighter.

Now add a Hue and Saturation adjustment layer and clip it to the underneath layer.  Click colorize and change the hair in the color you like.

Easy and fast way to change the color of someones hair.

Bad hair day? Tutorial on changing hair colour in Photoshop

There are many ways to change hair colour in Photoshop. This blog describes on of these many options you have. 

1. It all starts with opening the picture. Mind you, this method works best with people with light coloured hair.

2. Duplicate the background
3. Select the hair with for example the Lasso Tool. The selection doesn't have to be perfect.
4. With the selection active, click on the Hue and Saturation Adjustment layer.
5. Change the Hue and Saturation and change the hair colour to the colour you'd like to have

Because you're working with a mask, you can actually mask away the part or parts you don't like (by painting the mask black). There you have it, a new hair colour to brighten up your day!
