Create your own super cool banners!

Today is about placing an image in your text, or rather: how to create your own really cool banner. Taking it step by step, you'll discover just how easy it is to do:

1. Open a blank document
2. Hit T for the type tool
3. Type your text. Choose a bold letter type and make it big
4. Open the picture that you'd like to have in your text.
5. Move it onto the document with the text
6. Right click on the picture layer and choose Clipping mask. That's it: the image is now in your text!

For fine tuning, you can add a drop shadow (double click on the text layer and choose drop shadow).

And last but not least: you can of course change the background colour. Select the background layer and add Solid Color as an adjustement layer. Choose any color you like.

That's it folks! You've now created your own banner with image in it! Easy right? Have fun experimenting and I'll see you next time!
