Photoshop Quicktip, Create a sepia effect

With a  for example a photo filter you create a sepia effect in Photoshop.



Open the image.


Open the photo filter adjustment layer.


Go to filter and choose sepia.


With the Density slider you can add more or less sepia effect


By painting with black on the mask you can maks thing out, there you don't want the sepia effect.


Easy and quick way to give your image a sepia look and feel.

Create a icy winter look in Photoshop

Create a icy winter look in Photoshop in a few small steps.

We start with this picture.

1. Reduce the colors by adding a Hue and Saturation Adjustment layer.

2. Add a Photo Filter Adjustment layer.

Last step is to add some snow.  We wrote about his before.

So in a few steps we transformed this picture into a winter scenery.

Using a photo filter in #Photoshop

A post about using the photo filter in Photoshop.  You can open a picture and give it another look and feel using a filter.  

Open the photo filter adjustment by clicking in the Layer in the menu:  Menu > New Adjustment layer > Photo filter...

Or in the adjustment Layers panel

There are many filers to choose from

With the density you can increase the effect.

Here some examples:



Or use your one color by using the color picker:
By using the mask you can decide where in your picture you want your photo filter effect and can reduce the opacity of the mask.
